Portable Appliance Testing, also known as PAT testing, is a circuit test that will check your electrical equipment to ensure they are safe. It is vitally important to protect your business and its employees. Statistics form the Health & Safety Executive claim portable appliances account for around 25% of all reported electrical accidents.

Most new appliances are normally perfectly safe to use. However through use and general wear and tear they can develop faults. They will need various safety checks to reduce the risk of an electric shock or of a fire breaking out. 

Regular use of electrical appliance can lead to  damage. The wire can also start through use start to fray and become exposed.
